Paste your Veo match link. Get every play as its own clip, numbered in game order and ready for Hudl. No more clipping 80 plays by hand.
Veo records the whole game and its camera follows the action, and Veo's editor lets you cut clips by hand. As of October 2026 we could not find a Veo feature that automatically cuts each American football play into its own file. FilmSplit does that part: paste your public Veo match link and it splits the game into one clip per play.
Paste the public Veo match link into FilmSplit, check the plays it found and export. You get one zip of clips numbered 001, 002, 003 in game order. Unzip it and upload the clips to Hudl, which is easiest from a computer.
It finds most plays on its own and marks the ones it is unsure about, so you check those first. If it misses one, tap '+ Play here' while watching to add it. Clips you do not want, like timeouts or warm-ups, come out with one tap.
Each clip starts 8 seconds before the snap so you see the formation, and runs a moment past the end of the play. You can pick 4 to 12 seconds before the snap for every clip, and nudge any single clip by 2 seconds or half a second.
Not unless you want it. Clips export without sound by default, since sideline audio picks up play calls and conversations. Tick 'include sound' to keep it.
FilmSplit is free while it is in beta.
